Male Testing: Semen Analysis

An Experienced Team of Fertility Care

Initial Consultation

At Bronx Fertility and IVF, we understand that fertility treatment can be emotional and complex journey. That’s why our fertility experts will carefully review your medical history and prescribe any necessary additional fertility tests (exclusive of the cycle price).

Pre-treatment

Before starting your treatment, our expert team of fertility specialists and nurses will provide a comprehensive explanation of all relevant information, including your IVF medication, the treatment plan, the costs, and applicable insurance rebates.

IVF Treatment Begins

Follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) treatment starts on Day 1 of your cycle and continues for 1-2 weeks to promote egg growth. We will monitor your progress with blood tests and ultrasound scans.

Egg and Sperm Collection

When your eggs are ready, an injection triggers ovulation. Egg collection by our fertility specialists occurs about 36 hours later, with your partner providing a fresh semen sample on the same day.

Embryo Development

The next step is fertilisation. The fertilised egg (embryos) are grown to blastocyst stage and suitable ones are frozen for future use. One of these will be warmed and transferred during your next cycle.

Embryo Transfer

Embryo transfer typically occurs in the menstrual cycle immediately after IVF treatment. You will have to prepare for it with estrogen medication and vaginal progesterone. Our team provides detailed guidance before transfer cycle begins.

Is there a fee for your coaching or consulting services?

There is no charge to the care coordination or referral services at Bronx Fertilty and IVF. Please note that all of our providing partners are responsible for their own pricing, terms and insurance policies.

Do I need to be struggling with infertility to get access to your community or other wellness services?

Of course not! Give us a call today and we will gladly point you in the right direction for any of your wellness needs.

Do you have a lab or monitoring center?

Yes! We have exclusive partnerships with several of the leading lab and testing facilities. Monitoring can be done at any of our providing partner locations.

What if I am struggling from a specific condition such as PCOS, etc?

How old do I need to be to call?

16+ for any of our wellness, coaching or referral services. 18+ for any infertility referrals. Please note that we provide clinical referrals for patients 12+ for conditions such as PCOS, etc.
